The Bulgarian Maritime Administration informs that effective 17 June 2019 all holders of Bulgarian certificates of competency, deck department, and operational level, will have the opportunity to take the examination for certification for Master and Chief Mates on ships of 500 GT or more (Reg. II/2 of STCW) in the English language.
Only those candidates who meet all the conditions for the relevant competence of the Ordinance № 6 of 5 April 2012 of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and
Communications on Seafarer’s Competence in the Republic of Bulgaria will be admitted to the examination.
